Terms of Service — SweetTrans

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SweetTrans ("the Service"), operated at sweettrans.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SweetTrans ("we", "us", "our"). We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Eligibility

To use SweetTrans, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be legally permitted to use the Service under the laws of your jurisdiction.
Not be a person barred from using the Service under the laws of the United Kingdom or any other applicable jurisdiction.
Not have been previously banned or removed from the Service.

By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current and complete information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
You may not create more than one account per person.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
Harass, abuse, stalk, threaten, defame or discriminate against any other user.
Use transphobic, homophobic, racist or otherwise hateful language or behaviour.
Post false, misleading or deceptive information in your profile.
Use someone else's photos or impersonate another person.
Solicit money from other users under false pretences.
Send spam, unsolicited advertising or chain messages.
Upload content that is illegal, obscene (involving minors), or violates third-party rights.
Attempt to access another user's account without authorisation.
Use automated systems, bots or scrapers to access or interact with the Service.
Circumvent, disable or interfere with security features of the Service.
Use the Service to facilitate or promote prostitution or sex trafficking.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload to SweetTrans (photos, text, messages). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.

You are solely responsible for your content. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any user content. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without notice.

6. Profile Verification

SweetTrans offers optional profile verification. Verification indicates that a user has completed our verification process; it does not constitute an endorsement, background check or guarantee of the user's identity, character or intentions.

7. Premium Services & Payments

Some features of SweetTrans require a paid subscription ("Premium").
All prices are displayed in GBP and include applicable VAT.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled in accordance with UK consumer law. You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase for unused Premium subscriptions.

8. Safety & Interactions

SweetTrans facilitates introductions between users but is not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the Service. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members.

We strongly recommend reading our Safety Tips before meeting anyone in person. Always meet in public places and inform a trusted contact of your plans.

9. Moderation & Enforcement

We reserve the right to, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:

Remove or restrict any content or profile that violates these Terms.
Suspend or terminate any account for violations.
Report illegal activity to relevant authorities.
Cooperate with law enforcement investigations.

10. Intellectual Property

The SweetTrans name, logo, design, software, text and graphics (excluding user content) are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from our intellectual property without written permission.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee:

That the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
The accuracy, completeness or reliability of any content or profiles.
That you will find a match or achieve any particular outcome.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SweetTrans shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SweetTrans, its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or breach of these Terms.

14. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including indemnification, limitation of liability and dispute resolution) shall survive.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights under the laws of your country of residence.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
